主要针对错颌畸形的早期矫治及青少年正畸治疗开展临床工作，研究方向为颅颌面发育畸形的调控机制。先后获得国家自然科学基金优秀青年科学基金项目、国家自然科学基金面上项目等项目资助。相关研究成果发表第一/通讯作者SCI论文20余篇，包括Nature Communications、Bone Research、PLoS Genetics、International Journal of Oral Science、Elife、Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy等国际期刊。副主编《口腔细胞实验技术》、参编《牙发育与再生实验室技术》《中国青少年隐形矫治专家共识》等专著7部。现任中华口腔医学会儿童口腔医学专委会委员、中华口腔医学会口腔正畸专委会委员、中华口腔医学会口腔生物医学专委会青年委员、四川省正畸专委会青年专委会副主任委员。2020年入选中国科学技术协会“青年托举人才”，多次获得国内/国外学术奖励，包括中华口腔医学青年科学家论坛明日之星奖、中华口腔医学新秀之星奖、四川大学学术新人奖、国际牙科学会（IADR）青年学者奖等，先后参与获得四川省科技成果一等奖2项。代表性论著：1.
